Free upgrade.....

Hey guys... Not sure about any of you guys but have you noticed yourself getting upgraded on you internet line for free. At first i was on 1Mb DSL and now on 2Mb (free upgrade). We got a letter through the post (and an email) about being upgraded again (free of charge). This time its up to 8Mb DSL line. I take it this is to compete with people like Bulldog broadband ans such, but remember im still only paying £13.99 a month and i am about to get an 8Mb line, for 14 quid a month. Bargain, i sometimes wonder if these companies actually make any money at all. Anyone ese have experiences like this, please share!!
 
nope...if anything our internet gets slower and slower and when we call they tell us its not their fault and it must just be our location. never had any happiness from our ISP, and we've had alot of them.

my GF's Concast internet shuts off randomly and sometimes wont let her back on for hours...and there's "nothing they can do about it."

Same heere i was upgraded from4MB to 5MB with cox they used to have to plans a 4 and 5Mb plan, then upgraded their 4's to 5's and thier 5's to 7's
 
Yes, I noticed that. About a week ago my 512K BT broadband went dead for about 15 minutes and then kicked back in again at 1MB at which it has remained ever since. I recieved no e-mail or letter or anything. Weird but I'm not complaining.
 
hey dragon, what isp you with? im with NTL and got upgraded form 1.5Mb to 3Mb. still, im being ripped off though, its too damn expensive!
 
i'm on bulldog, they upped me from 4mb to 8mb a few month ago, now they are upping me to 16mb. But in reality i never get that.

like i said it never really gets that high. The best ive had out of any bandwidth test in 7mb
 
Hi all, im with BT Yahoo, for only 13.99 a month im going to get 8Mb. Its so cheap cos my dad works for BT and he gets ridiculous employee benefits.
