Freezing during gaming?

I just Built my New computer and while playing BF2 and Oblivion every so offen my computer will freeze for anywhere from 5-20secs at a time. Anyone had this problem of know something about it? i could really use your help thanks

My computer locks up a lot playing the same games you do, but thats because its so underpowered. The only thing I can think of for now is the drivers for everything. Make sure they are the latest. Also, is anything overheating?

is there a good way to monitor my Temps during gaming? or just tab out?

You can try lowering the graphics and details settings in the game and see if it still does it for a test.

ya none of that has helpped so far anyone else have any ideas?
