freezing issues

Well, my friends desktop freezes randomly..I opened it up and there's corrosion on a few of the capacitors..could that could freezing? I know its a hardware issue..just trying to narrow it down
 
If the capacitors have corrosion on them then the motherboard definately needs to be replaced before the freezing can be figured out. And yes they could be whats causing the freezing.
 
Those dells were using an incomplete and stolen capacitor formula, 98% chance of failure, they may have also spread elsewhere. that board needs to be replaced.
