Well first off a year ago my computers motherboard fried. cuttin my losses i just went ahead and bought a new laptop. However now im looking at replacing the motherboard. Id like for it to not need any modding or anything to work so id like for it to be as compatible as possible. So heres some links...

If you know of any others that would work feel free to let me know we were looking to stay under 150 dollaars however so if ya can help at all that would be awesome thanks!

Those mb's aren't compatible. Needs to be one with an am2 cpu socket.
You could get an am3 socket and an Athlon II x2 cpu and 4gb rm for about that $155.
However, if you use Windows and use the same model mb as the fried one, you should be ok with Windows playing on it stright up. If you change the model f the mb, there's a chance that it would play with the new mb, and a chance it may not since the mb is what consitutes a new computer. And MS says, new comp-new Windows. Some say they let MS know that they replaced the mb with a similar one, and they allowed it. If it's XP
you may have a better chance as I have swapped an XP hdd into a new system before and MS activated/authenticated. So there's the risk of the os not working. If you could find the exact same board, you should be ok.
