Does anybody happen to know how the configuration for the Front Panel of a Gateway SX2802 Motherboard?

Been surfing the web for answers, and the only useful thing I found was this link for configuring the front panel.

The Power LEDS are working, but I can't get the Power Switch to work.

That link does not seem to apply to your motherboard.

Details on case connection are always hard to find online for non mainstream motherboards, you would be much quicker just manually going through the pins than searching online.

All the case connection pins are grouped together, so if you have found the pwr leds you are at the right group of pins.

Just take one case connection cable at a time and try it on different pins until you find the correct pair for each cable.

I noticed in my old gateway case, the wires (connected to the power button) was connected to this other small circuit board (located in the front bottom of the case) containing USB ports, audio and speaker, and other ports I'm not sure about. should I take that out and install it into the current case I'm using?

If you still have the case, you can trace the wires from the power switch /Power LED/Reset/ HD LED from the old case and see which wires goes where.
