Front Panel Connectors

quick question with the front panel connectors..

i have power sw, h.dd led and reset on the wires coming from the front of my case. These all have a triangle printed on the rear of the wires and on the connectors they have a cross on one side where the wires go in. Which way should i insert the wires or does it not matter?

I am also unsure which front usb connector goes in what slot. there is a hole blocked off on each of the connectors but in different places.

My motherboard is an msi k8n diamond sli and my case in nzxt nemesis

for the switches it does not matter, becasue they are switches, + and - are the same on a switch, for the LED's + and - does matter, i would assume that the bit with the side with the mark on it would be positive, or if there is an arrow pointing to one wire specifically, taht would be positive.

There should be a + sign on one of them.

I can never remember Trial and error works for me ... afterall there are only two options hehe
