Front panel problem

Hello

I bought a new PC,and at first the front panel worked well,but then something happent with my PC and i had to "refresh" it . So it deleted all my files etc,and now my front panel doesnt work at all. when i plug something in it doesnt even say that something is plugged in.i tried updating my drivers but still nothing. Any ideas?

When you say front panel do you mean audio, usb ports or everything ?

Is it a custom built PC, or an OEM build such as Dell/HP...etc.....? and if so what brand? If a custom build, what motherboard is it?
