Front USB configuration

Maybe it's something i've overlooked but am used to getting them right.
The front USB connectors from the casing.i have :

GND x2 (Black)
VCC x2 (Red)
Port + x2 (Green)
Port - x2 (Green)

now on the mobo i have 9 pins... like below

2 4 6 8 9
1 3 5 7

now, the manual indicates that 7 and 8 is GND, so no probs there
1&2 = POWER (5V)
3&4 = USB DX -
5&6 = USB DX +
9 = NO PIN

this is how i connected it:
1&2 = VCC (RED)
3&4 = PORT - (GREEN)
5&6 = PORT + (GREEN)

is it wrong ?...

hmmmm... seems i misplaced cables, anyhoo will see to that on monday
