Frontlines: Fuel of War Problem

I just downloaded Frontlines: Fuel of War, tried to run it, it goes to load, then Windows shuts it down with an error, and tells me if they find a solution, they'll let me know.



What to do.

Update Drivers. Then Update Windows if you havn't, Then If still does not work. Verify all that stuff on steam to make sure its not a problem there

I restarted, got on, joined a server, became very laggy and got that same error, which shut down the game.


My settings are on Very High, 1060x1050 I think is my resolution, it's the same as COD4.

Oh, no I meant my settings are the same. Call of Duty 4 runs perfect.

Google around, a lot of people are having the exact same problem.


And I reset the game, and cleared the patch, I got the game to load, and go into a game, freeze and kick me off, like last night.

Obviously a problem with the game then not copatable with your system. Are all the problems people have on vista?

It appears to be Vista, so we have to wait for an update.


All my other games work on Vista, so.

I have big news . I was sopposed to post couple days ago but forgot. Look around on steam. No frontlines? They took it of for some reason or i just cant find it. You should get your money back if you cant find it on steam either

Haha... Brand new game doesn't work on Vista... Vista's been out a year and a half now and the Beta longer... WTF are these developers thinking?

I found a way to make C&C: TFD work finally.. Where XP and Vista differ in routes to get to the Documents/My Documents folder, it wasn't creating a .ini file in a folder in Documents. EA knows they shouldn't store crap in Documents. IMO, that's a no-no.
