so ive been mssing with my ram (OCZ3P16004GK) for the past 2 days trying to get it to run at advertised speeds with no luck so instead i dropped it to 1333mhz and lowered the timings quite a bit but now i noticed my fsb:dram ratio was 3:10. could i get a bit of an explanation as to what i going on here and if that is a bad thing and how to fix it (i will be overclocking my CPU soon)

fsb is the speed your cpu is running on.
dram speed is apparently much higher right now because it's on a 3:10 ratio with the fsb. Ideal situation is 1:1.

Yeah, I find the whole RAM overclocking thing in general to be quite confusing. I understand the overclocking process of a CPU, and WHY the speed of the RAM goes up, but not really how to remedy ir or when it's causing a problem.
