Fsb:dram

Hi,

My FSB : DRAM is 1:2
I wonder why is like that and how can i make that ratio 1:1?
I noticed my CPU is running only 1.5Ghz speed i guess it can run 2.4GHz.

I guess i don't need much to explain, everything should be on the picture.

Reason why im interested in this is because my memory scored only 5.5 at windows experience index. Everything else is 5.9 except my memory.
Also interesting thing, before i upgraded memory from 4GB to 6GB memory score was 5.7. Score actually decreased as I added 2GB of exactly same memory.
Anyone has any idea please help?

Thxs

First, your CPU limits the speed to save power, so I wouldn't worry about that. As for the memory, it needs to run in a 1:2 ratio because your FSB isn't high enough to run the memory at factory rated speeds in a 1:1 ratio. If you wanted it to be 1:1 you would need to overclock your processor.

So are you saying that I'm getting lower score on my memory test because FSB not because memory itself.

No, but just because the memory score can reach 5.9 doesn't mean that yours performs that well. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
