FSB Voltage?

What voltage do you guys have your FSB voltage at?

Do you think 1.4v is too high, think I could get away with 1.3v for a 3.2Ghz OC?

Well only one way to find out Danny ^-^

I left mine on auto since manual even at the same volts kept being pissy at me. Strange issue but it was 1.3v or so.

I guess you're right, Yeah. I've heard different things, so I'm not sure what to believe.

Your FSB is at 1.3v?

I have no idea theres 5 million options in my bios.
Heres what you do think of a number from 1-10 and what ever number you choose is a safe voltage :).

I know that would be horrible.
I know a few boards I used have the voltage's in diffrent colors once you got to levels which were really pushing it the color would be red.

Well, I've knocked it down to 1.3v and it seems to be Ok, so far. We'll see.

I'm running @ 3.2Ghz now (long story) with 1.41 vCore. What's your vCore at Twist?

Wow, I have mine at 3Ghz, and 1.3 Vcore and The FSB is 1.4 (stock). Maybe you can bring your Vcore down, unless you need that much more power for 200 mhz. Always worth a shot.

Yeah I have to go up .50v from 3.0 to 3.2 ^-^

Though its depressing his chip runs so much cooler with more volts ><

My vcore is at 1.344 vdrop and 1.38125 in bios for 3.6 with my q6600. FSB voltage or North Bridge (MCH Core in my bios) is at 1.3.

the lower it is and still working fine the less energy it will use, the less wil be wasted, the less heat will be produced.

that means less money spend on cooling and longer life of compnents, so put it as low as possible with it still working ok, just play with it, but dont put it too high, it will start frying compnenents

My buddy has his at 3.6 with 1.44v for over a year and a half now so as long as your temps are good I don't think you have anything to worry about.
