Are mobos fsb compatible with lesser speeds (i.e. a 333mhz mobo working with a 266mhz processor)

Supposing you know that the sockets have to be the same, the answer would be YES.

thanks, i thought it'd work, but i'm not going to spend money on a motherboard and have it not work, lol, i cant get a newer processor, so i have to settle for the crap i have now
