FSX Aircraft Installation Problem

Hello,

A while ago I installed the freeware Project Opensky 777-200ER and when I put it into the folders and everything, it worked perfectly fine. But I had to reinstall the whole game, deleting everything, and now when I do the exact same thing, the textures aren't loading at all. Even though I followed the same directions as last time. When I go to pick the aircraft, it will show up like this:

Please help!

Thanks,
Adam

What direct X are you running?
I have noticed that a lot of freeware planes on FSX only like to run in DX9, which is really annoying. So just make sure you you don't have "Preview in Direct X 10" enabled and that should solve it, that's usually the problem with this type of error.

Anytime.
How does Dx9 run for you? Any troubles?
I get about 7-13 fps when I am in Dx9 but in Dx10 I get about ~40 or so.

EDIT: Double checking the screenshot, what SP are you using?

Yeah I get about 20 fps when I am in Dx9, and I don't want to go back to Dx10 lol.

Sorry, but what's SP?

SP is service pack. Basically patches, they really help the game out, more content and it helps the performance.

Service pack 1.

Service pack 2.

The only downside is, if you play with a friend or on a regular server that does on run the same SP you are, you will not be able to play with them/on that. Unless of course they get the SP.

Ah I see. Yeah apparently it comes with Acceleration (I bought FSX Gold). So I have both then.

Reduce some of the ground/sea traffic settings, you'll generally get a noticeable jump in graphics performance as it takes alot of stress off the cpu, especially you guys running duals like linkin.

Also, DX10 released with SP2/Acceleration linkin.

Tired and trying to read people by avatars again:P All these people running the Australia avatar, your location being Australia, and the fact i think i was replying to you on a different post, i meant to say goose, yet i don't know his specs. I think i accidentally combined you two there in my mind for a second:P

(i think i'm gonna go get some sleep so i don't do the same thing again soon).
