i am trying to install FSX on a computer that has 10GB of free space, and i installed it but 3/4 of the way through it stopped and I loked on the back of the box it said it needs 15GB of space to install?? is this true?

how could I cut it down?

this load wasnt regular, i popped the disk in and it took off loading without me having to select anything...

Yes thats right....Its actualy 14Gb

* Microsoft® Windows® XP SP2 / Vista
* PC with 1 GHz equivalent or higher processor
* 256 MB of system RAM for Windows XP SP2 / 512 MB Vista
* 14 GB available hard disk space
* DVD-ROM drive
* 32 MB DirectX 9 compatible video card required
* Sound card, speakers or headphones required for audio
* Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
* 56.6 Kbps or better modem for online play

Try removing programs you dont need and basicly cleaning up your hard drive to make space.

If your that low on space i suggest you invest in another hard drive.

If you only have 10GB space remaining, are you sure you're computer's even powerful enough to run it?

As for all the space required, I'm not 100% sure if that's all required for the game or not, but I suspect at least some of it's required for temporary files during the installation and perhaps the swap file as well.

Yeah FSX is quite a demanding game i think....Those are the minumim specifications i found ,but no way would it run on that.

I tried running the demo of FSX on my pc and......ooh dont ask:D

You will need a leading edge machine to run at half way decent frame rates. With only 10 gb available you might want to wait until you have a larger hard drive and faster computer.
