FTP Server

i asked someone on another forum how to setup up a remote desktop...he said that if you made your computer an FTP server that it would be easier to USE your computer that way....i don't think he udnerstood what i meant...i wann be able to RUN my computer from another computer....i know i can do this because i have this for my mom and she pays 100$ a year for it...i don't wanna have to pay for it...if you gusy know a free way to do it then could you help me out

Well you can always use the REMOTE DESKTOP feature in Windows XP Pro. If you do not have that, then VNC (Ultr@VNC for example) are great for this purpose. Give it a try. An FTP server is basically just a file server (using the file transfer protocol).
