funny noise

hi all,

whenever i start my computer up i alwaysh ear a buzzing noise then afta ive switched it on and off a couple of times it starts up properly without the noise.
Any ideas waht this could be?

Check that none of the fans are dying, sometimes when bearings get shot they will make some strange noises, as madhatter said, check for fan obstructions, you might also want to check it isnt coming from one of your hard-drives

Yes, the hard drive, andone thing yal forgot to do: the power supply. I had one that whined when the power plug plugged in... a failing PSU in other words.
