Well, I am just looking for parts around, and I am throwing a few things together so I can be ready by the time I am ready to buy/build(most likely after April's price drops :P ). I know the prices may have changed by then, but I can deal with that later down the road..For now, I would like to know what you guys think as far as will it all work together, and what type of graphics card I should get? I don't game much at all, HOWEVER, I may play SOME CS:Source which shouldn't need but a so good graphics card. I also am not sure of what type of PSU to get

This will be my first build, so I am fairly new to all of the parts, etc so please just let me know of the PSU/Graphics card, and of any suggestions you guys have.

You've chosen the exact some components as me, I'm getting them for my next build! :D

For a graphics card I'm getting an XFX 7900GS, You may like it too.

Kornowski actually, I was thinking about getting these parts, and then I saw your post, so it became official..Thank you :) haha..well I mean I didn't plan on spending over $115-$120 for the graphics card, and maybe $50-$70 for PSU? I mean, whatever is cheapest, but will work reliable

1GB of memory should be fine, but I'd seriously consider getting duel channel over just a single stick. Even downgrading to DDR667 would be fine, as many people say the performance decrease is not noticable.

Well, for the PSU I would definitely choose the XClio 450BL since it is cheaper, if it worked well no problem

Oh right, Awesome! Should be a good build! :D

Why would it be better to get two sticks instead of one, Dual channel is treating two sticks as one, why no get one and still have 3 slots left for RAM?

I would allways go with Ceewi1's advice, he knows his stuff when it comes to PSU's. :)

Hmm..so now I am not sure whether to get 1 stick of 1 GB or two sticks of 512 MB..Hopefully others will come in, I mean I figured the 1 GB would be better for more slots open

Yeah, That's what I thought, I mean I may be wrong, but I think it'd be better to buy a 1GB stick and have the other slots free to upgrade in the future.

yeh but are you ever gonna use the other 3 ram slots, even if you wanna upgrade to 2gig ram then you can use 4x512mb

Yeah, What about the time when you want to have 3GB, when the time comes...

Whats the benefit of having all the slots used up when you can have the same amount of RAM while only using 2 slots, you could also get them to run in Dual Channel, thus making them better.

ok, didnt think that you would go past the 2gig mark but i suppose in the future we may need to. Just go for the 1gb stick then

having to get rid of a 512 is not worth the painless cost of a 1g stick, plus now a days there same price

1gb stick= price of 2 512mb sticks
