Fuzzy Graphics

I got a Sapphire Radeon 9600XT with HeatSink only....


When i play old games like Enemy-Territory and Warcraft 3 Frozen throne graphics are fuzzy but with half life 2 they fine! please help!

Quality settings in the game are the same? Consider setting the quality seetings from windows?

if there fuzzy try looking at your refresh rate higher=less fuzzy try about @75

Oh, and if there is a refresh rates menu per resolution in the game, then match it with the refresh.

its not so much a feature of the video card but rather the display device

vsync kills my game playability. i run monitor @ 100Hz and i always have vsync off, makes it look better and improves performance. i'd only use it if you have SERIOUS screen tearing ingame, which is probably a sign of a much needed upgrade or hardware problems.

you're sure the card isn't overheating? and it does have latest drivers along with motherboard. running older catalyst drivers my card is "fuzzy" in the display even at desktop. 4.10 and later it's pretty crisp.
