Fuzzy screen.

For some reason my computer screen is becoming very fuzzy. it was not like this before.

could it be a virus? spyware? adware? i have no idea.

The computer does have antivirus program but i have no idea what it is, its a chinese antivirus program.

if you know what is the cause please let me know.

Your logfile has quite a few issues that need addressing, but i'll leave that to Buzz. Post it in the security forum.

I'd speculate that the fuzzy monitor issue may not be related, though. Is it an older CRT monitor? Have you tested the monitor on another machine?

Might I also suggest installing a more reliable antivirus program. I'm not seeing one active in your log.

Yeh, the log does need to be cleaned and i wouldnt say that your blurry screen is malware related.... Have you tried going into the OSD settings on the monitor, try adjusting things like MOIRE if they are there.

I would suggest setting your monitor to its factory defaults. You dont mention what type of screen you are using but my old CRT monitor had an issue if i used an unscreened cable. The unscreened cable was longer (which is why i changed to it) however when i used that the image would become slightly blurred and i couldn't adjust the blurryness away. When i switched back to my shorter cable (that was screened) the blurryness went away.

Its not my computer so i don't know much about it. I will try a shorter cable for now.

Your problem is most likely a Refresh Rate related issure. Right-click your desktop>properties>then to advanced settings tab on your display submenu>monitor and try every single one of your resfresh rates (Hz) until it becomes clear.

Lemme ask you this, do you have big speakers or an amplifier close to your monitor? I had mines very close and the screen was getting a bit fuzzy at 85Hz so I had to move them a bit away, like 25 inches (fairly big speakers). If that's not an issue then try the suggestions from other posts here of course.
