Sup guys,

Everytime i play saints row 3 it bsod because of bulldozer. It looks like this is a widespread problem. Does anyone have any ideas for a fix?

if something doesn't work with the hardware you'll just have to wait for the game to get a patch or get a new cpu for while you're waiting.

This isn't by any means a shot at the OP, but I'd rather be kicked in the face than spend money on a Bulldozer processor. I pity the people who rushed out and snagged one right at release. :(

Do you also get the BSOD in Deus Ex HR and Shogun 2?

If you do, then the FX series has yet another incompatibility with a game.

AMD's Zambezi just sounds worst every time I read about it. Deneb, Thuban, Propus and Rana core processors are the way to go with AMD central processing units.

Dont know what it is. Set yor Bus back to 200. Then bump up your processor voltage to 1.425. Not knocking your board, but I hate Crosshair boards. Have had nothing but trouble out of them. If you gave me one, I would sell it or make a frisbee out of it.

Theres nothing faulty here and the board worked great on a 1100t. The problem is this cpu isnt designed for windows 7 and alot of games dont have this cpu coded into them. It's too advanced for the current state of games. Ill try it with windows 8 preview to see what happens.

Windows 7 will only see a bulldozer as a 8 core. It just doesnt know the best core to send a thread to. Most games only use 2 or some 4 cores. It just causes a performance issue. Neither one would cause the problem your having. Sounds like a problem between the board and processor or a overclock issue.
