I know G0 stepping is considered the best for overclocking. I read something about how it has a shrunken die from 65nm to 45nm. Well on newegg the Q6600 said 65nm, so does that mean it has the B3 stepping? I'm all confused on this because even though it said 65nm, some people said they got the G0 stepping, and others got G0.
So here's what I want to know:
1. does newegg ship both out, but just at random?
2. where to directly buy a G0 step one
3. a full article on what exactly stepping is in a processor, and what the difference between these steppings means other than overclocking
Thank you for your time and help.
