wow, my logitech g15 is screwed up.

it does this on its own. ddadadawddddadawdawdawdadawddwadsadaadadadawdawdadawawdawllook at this mofo go...
 
Must not like you. I loved the first gen G15 so much, when it broke, I picked up another one.


Did you spill something on it maybe..? The G15 is one of the only keyboards I've owned, and it's never done that.
 
I've spilled stuff on mine, it works fine still. mines is G2 and i picked it up second hand.

If you got anything in it, unplug it, take out the keys and put the keyboard in the sun to dry out anything that got in it. sometimes you gotta leave it for >2 days.
 
remove the keys, check for debris, replace the keys. If it still does that, try another keyboard. If another keyboard works fine just RMA it with logitech.
 
i think it might be the usb ports on my pc. i cleaned the KB like two weeks ago and it's only those keys... maybe i play too much?

also, my mouse started acting funny, like it's cliking the side buttons. sometimes my browser starts going back pages.

i unplugged them and reconnected them. so far no problems, but ill see how that goes
 
Try the front USB ports, or check your ones are wired up properly if they are not in those little connecters that only go in one way.
 
Do you do a lot of FPS games? Since you said it's only the WASD keys, they may just be worn out from a little too much pwning and gamage! :)

they are teh rear usb ports on the mobo :(
the front usb ports i use for headset & external drives.

yeah, it's doing it again. so is the mouse. i'm watching youtubes, when all of a sudden it goes back pages on firefox and starts typing wsaawssaswsawasawsasw

i play CSS almost everyday... but come on! the g15 is supposed to be a gaming keyboard. i haven't had it too long either, it ain't broke and is still clean :D
that explains the KB, but the mouse too? and i don't use the thumb buttons that much either... dangit.

i like my g15 once i spilled thumbs up on it twice the same day and it stopped working i just freaked out and used a hairdrier to dry it up and kept it disconected for an hour or 2 and it started working try that it might work for you
 
Personally I like my G11 board which is pretty much a 15 w/o a LCD but for as often as I use the macros its not really worth the $50 I payed for it new (before they raised prices etc years ago)

Agreed. I never use the macros and I don't use the LCD displays half as much as i used to.

Yeah back when I played MMO type games I abused the living hell out of the macro system...made me superior to most and allowed me to work less to do the same thing ^-^

Sadly I spilled some water on my G11 and now it randomly changes brightness....might be time to buy a new board.
