OMG is all I can say. So its either a standalone or expansion for Race 07, right? I guess I am going to have to buy Race07 and get that when it comes out. I CANT wait.
 
I'm actually not too impressed with this video. they seem to have put more effort in moving the game title through the screen rather than actually show (good) gameplay.

It doesnt look better than Forza 2/pgr 4 on the xbox360 either (or Grid for the pc for that matter)
I suppose only time will tell tough.
 
Just about any Racing Game is worth getting. For me anyways It has to have clutch or h-shift support though otherwise im not getting it. But, I guess since its an expansion pack off of Race07 that it will have support b/c Race 07 does.

+1. It just doesn't look as... good as other game previews. Then again, I'm not a track type person.

race sims were never pretty. i had race07 on all high settings and it didn't wow me in the graphics section. but, gameplay was fun! :D

well, they already can make the cars handle (quite easely) very realistic, so thats not a big feat. anymore. (at least, imo) the gameplay of the racing games is all pretty simmilair (duh? :P ) so yea, Imo a new racing game should 'wow' you with the grafic's nowdays too.
 
haha i get what you mean about racing games being the same. but this one features road cars! the trailer had an audi r8 and koenigsegg ccx! :D iirc, there isn't a race sim on the pc to feature licensed production cars, they're all race cars. ;)
 
^^ True No production cars in any PC game well, except TD: Unlimited but, thats not really a sim. That game is WAY too arcade.

not to mention older NFS and TD titles. ;) but none of them fall into the sim category.

also, someone mentioned race driver grid. while it is a fun game and sets new standards for graphics in racing games for the pc, it is NOT a sim.

and if it is so easy to make cars handle realistically in a game, why do most titles get it wrong. if you want realism, play LFS. most won't like it though, because it is to hard. this is also the reason for the poor sales of grand prix legends back in the day.

i will probably purchase the expansion for race 07. it will be nice to finally have a decent sim of the ring on the pc again. :) having driven on the ring in real life, it is hard for me find a satisfactory sim of it.
