Well, from what Ive heard the Ultra is coming out soon and it is getting ridiculous benchmarks

The 8800GT Ultra, I've never heard of it... I've only heard of the 8800 Ultra, which is just an OC'ed version of the GTX.

I think it'll be par with the 640Mb 8800gts (maybe jsut under it), but it'll consume (much?) less power and run cooler would be my gues

No, the new 8800GTS is supposed to perform better than 8800GTX and it might outperform 8800Ultra as well

Going by specs alone the G92 8800 GTS does beat the ultra.

Remember that ATi/AMD released two new graphics cards today, with the $170 model almost equal to the 2900XT, and the $210 model crushing both

The $179 model (HD3850) is slower than HD2900XT

HD3870 is slightly faster than HD2900XT

I'd get a 8800GT , I think they have the best price/value ever.
When I bought my GFX half a year back, I payed 200€ and it was far from top of the line.
And now I can get one of the "top of the line" models for 250€. Crazy !

lol, They are pretty good aren't they, apprently the new GTS's will be about £200 though?
