GA-8PE667 Ultra 2 problem

I am having problems with my mother board. My computer wont start windows XP. It keeps saying: failed to start windows. and offers me options to start windows. No matter what I pick it won't start. Help!

I still don't know describe the issues. Does it take you to the boot up menu or is there a blank screen. Try this link it will tell on how to fix it. Also I doubt its a motherboard problem it should be an OS or hard drive issue.

If the motherboard was switched out from a previous motherboard, that is the reason why it won't start up. The new motherboard has all different hardware now and the windows installed on the hard drive is looking for different hardware.

It won't work with your new mobo.
Install a CD/DVD driver and insert your original disk to install Windows and format your HD and re-install it.
