Game Darkness or Gamma

Hi, i have an Nvidia 6200 AGP. I play a game called battlefield 1942 (yes, still) and the game is way too dark. I tried increasing the gamma, brightness but its annoying to do this every time i go to the game then switch it back to use any other program. When i had my ATI card there was a setting in the Control Center that allowed me to change the brightness/gamma for specific programs...

How can I improve the brightness and gamma in my game? Is there any programs or something i could use??

There are options in the nvidia driver to manipulate the brightness and gamma. Also can't you do this inside the game? If you do that, the setting will only apply to the game and when you exit it, your brightness and gamma setting will be reverted back.

like i said, the nvidia one sets up the gamma globally. Not just in the game, meaning i have to change it back after i exit the game.

I'm not sure because I don't have a NVidia card... But is there an option where you can set a "Profile" for certain applications??

Is it only in that game, or is it all the time?

Have you looked at your monitors settings to see if the contrast and brightness were turned down on accident or something?

The I'm sure you an manipulate the brightness and gamma setting from the Nvidia driver. Do you have the latest one from Nvidia.com? If you just have the generic Windows one, then you will have to install the one from nvidia to gain access to these features.
