Networking is my worst area in computers. What I'd like to do is play a multiplayer game on three Windows 7 computers. All the units have ample hardware (wifi, memory, and RAM)and are new units. I have a wireless router. If someone could give me a couple starter tips or a link to a good program to get me going that would be great. I have used bluetooth to play 2 players but want a 3rd (three grandkids chomping at the bit) to join in. Where should I start ??? Thanks.

Connecting them all via Wifi to the router should work. Do you need help with that?
Yes, Ive tried a few different ways to connect. I dont want to use the internet I just want to use a network connection to play regular games. But what ever ive tried when I turn on the games the computers dont show up. Do I need to hook the router to 1 computer with a cable, should I use only cables and that is easier? Like I mentioned with bluetooth I connect and start the game and there the other computer is.

Well hooking them up with Wifi should do for the connections, then get on one of the computers and set up a Homegroup (search for homegroup in Windows search in the Start menu). Then you can go on the other computers and set them up to connect to that homegroup and things should be easy.
