ok so i altered my xbox controller so it works on my computer it says its all hooked up right and windows says its working just fine but why when i tried to play crysis it wouldn't let me use it and when i went to settings the game pad option was in gray and i couldn't select it
 
Did you install the program for the xbox to pc?

Controller wont work unless its installed....it plays the role as the micro processor that will allow it to work.

Then it could just not support it. I know for a fact it only has built in support for the 360 controllers.

I see a lot of people claiming that it works but I have YET to find a guide that shows how to enable a PS2/PS3 or xbox controller on such games.
