As for a recommendation, just look around for games you see on Windows and check if there is a Mac version. As for Action/Adventure go for Diablo 2, it is old but damn it is fun.

If anyone is going to recommend a Mac for anything, it might as well be me. I am sure the mods don't need a weekend rent-a-cop to post warnings in the largest font size.
The best running game I have seen on a Mac so far has been WoW. If you don't like that game, check out BF1942. Macs won't be too far out when games start becoming browser-based.

and replies to this thread. Like it or not there are new MAC user who like to know what games out there that are best to play on their MAC. Just like people using pc like to know which games is best to play. People just asking question so if you can help them then go head.

Kill Bill's post was a bit OTT, but I think he has a point... if he hadn't had said anything I could just see this turning into a thread of people saying "You should get windows.." etc...
Anyways, the only game I know for Mac is World of Warcraft.. tis a good adventure (RPG) game, though its only online and you have to pay a monthly subscription.

That doesn't necessarily mean that you can't run a game on one...
You can find them a lot cheaper on Newegg
