Game runtime error

I have this flying combat game (Luftwaffe Commander) from SSI that in both computers running Win98se and WinXP I get this error message that a runtime was requested in and unusual way. I have checked for patchs for this game and install it but the problem is still there.

The game used to work sometimes but now it won't. Have removed it and re-installed without any success.

Anyone have any ideas?

i dunno, thats a vague and unusual error message. the only good suggestion that i can think of would be check ur direct x settings. maybe upgrade ur directx? im not too sure, sorry i cant be more help.
