Hey guys, i am looking for a new LAPTOP and i am a bit of a cheap skate. I am looking to get CNC3 for it and want to know wether it will run on an Integrated graphics card.

The two laptops i have in mind are these....

and.....THE DELL BEST VALUE FOR 379 pounds

Of course the second laptop is the better value for money though there is no garentee it can run the game i want it to play

These are the System requirements for CNC3
System requirements

* Windows XP/Vista 32-bit only
* XP 2.0 GHz / Vista 2.2 GHz Processor (Single Core)
* XP 512 MB RAM / Vista 1 GB RAM
* 8x DVD drive
* 6.0 GB HDD space
* DirectX 9.0c compatible video card - GeForce 4 Ti, ATI Radeon 8500, Intel GMA 900 or better
* DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
* 56 Kbp/s Internet connection for online play

If you know wether or not the integrated graphics cards can run this game could you let me know?

Because i dont know much about laptops and I DONT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF

I dont want to spend over 400 pounds

THANKS!

1. Don't double post in future please

2. I wouldn't buy either, Dell support is appauling, and I wouldn't buy anything but kids toys from Argos. MSI make some decent laptops, but I would get one from elsewhere, as it will be cheaper, and you will get better support from the shop you buy it from

3. Is there a reason that you NEED a laptop? If you already have a monitor, mouse and keyboard, it would be better to build a desktop. Only reason to get a laptop with your budget, is if you don't have the necessary peripherals, or you need it to be mobile.

Assuming that a laptop is a necessity:

or

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/156-...duo-su9600-16ghz4gb-ddr2-500gb-hdd-win-7-home

would be better options than the ones you posted.

More memory (faster memory in the case of the Samsung), better processor, however, none of the 4 in this thread so far would be any good for gaming. You will be spending more than £400 on a gaming laptop. For a desktop, it would be doable, but not for a laptop, because mobile graphics aren't as quick as desktop at the best of times, when you get to a cheap laptop, you have graphics that can watch videos and play older games at best

the requirements for the game listed...if that is it...is pretty low, so honestly it wont be a struggle to fit a decent accelerator in there that doesnt cost a ton...i dont think at least
