Someone said a few things in a completely different thread but I want to address them here because it would be taking that thread off topic. I wont quote that person either because they deleted the post and I respect that. So the following is aimed at no one in particular but at the average person whom might feel the same.

It was said that the only gamers in families are teenagers. I'll just say that this is total rubbish. There are many adult gamers and I'm one of them.

As for the Wii being good for just families that is BS too. I'm willing to bet that there will be many adult gamers getting the Wii. I love Zelda and Mario and will buy it just for those games. I own a gamecube also and enjoy Zelda and Mario Sunshine, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil (remake), Resident Evil 0 (notice that most of those are adult games).

It can be said that adult gamers where gaming long before any teenager of today ;). Why should we stop playing just because we get older? In 2004 statistics showed that the average gamer was 30 years old and had been gaming for approx. 9.5 years.

Just a quick rant towards anyone thinking that gamers cannot be adults. Thanks for reading and your comments are welcome as always.
 
It's someones time of the month.. I mean, if someone posts something on the internet then we must take it with 100% seriousness and if it degrades us we must fight back..
 
I agree with you too Blue,

My uncle :D hes 54 and plays games like AOE 3 and C&Q and most football manager related games.

And my dad hes 44,He likes to play Hunting Unlimited 4 and most racing car games:D

And i highly doubt that i will ever stop playin games until im about 60 years old:D

Hopefully i wont be dead by then:D

I'm not bitching I simply thought I'd raise these thoughts for discussion. This display of attitude is not wanted nor warranted. Any further comments leading toward an argumentative tone and this thread will be closed. I'm sure the original thread starter would not mind.

I have decided to close this thread in light of MisterBubbles post. I did not realize that anyone would become insulted but apparently he has.
