I have a brand spanking new system which I bought for my brother, I'm running a MSI 6600GT 128PCI-E with the MSI Neo4 platinum...1 gig ram, 250 gig 7500 on XP but my games keep crashing. I'll start playing and it will crash (quit the game on me) This only happens with my games and no other apps....The games it's happening with: Half life 2, Warcraft III, rome total war...any ideas? XP is updates as are video drivers.

yeah...multiple times....what about having the games on a seperate partition? I think he has XP on one partition, apps on another and games on a third....

those are the nvidia forceware drivers ;)
anyway, you might want to check the MSI homepage, and download the drives from the card there. also, you may want to reinstall directx. it could be that dx9.0c is corrupted on your pc.

Ya, thats what i was thinking, not enough power from the psu, also, make sure the graphics card is at a normal temp.

Archangel: Those are the ones referenced from the MSI webpage...

Power Supply: Enermax EG495P-VE 485W

How do I check the temp on the card? I can't see that being a problem, everything feels good inside...and it's not like it should be taxed to the max here.
