Games R freezing

IM SO ANNOYED! all my games freeze! WHY? WHY? WHY? Cryis, tf2, empire earth 3. Crysis will either freeze and make me turn the computer of, or freeze for a second every now and then. Tf2 will crash and freeze and freeze everynow and then. THEY ALL CRASH AND FREEZE! Turned settings up and down. Updated drivers! DOWNLOADED PATCHES! AND STILL! THE PAIN! THE AGONY! WHY! WHYYYYYYYYY! I have to 8700 gt's So System requirements isnt an issue! WHY!!!!!! Please someone look into this before i have a nervous breakdown! " breaths in and out of a paper bag, paper bag pops and a large scream is heard for 10 miles away "



i have more games just named a few... WHY!!!!!
 
The 3D settings need to be changed. Just go to the Video options in the game and change the default 3D software to D3D(DirectX 3D).
By default, most of the games are OpenGL.
 
The 3D acceleration provided by DirectX 3D is supported on your card.
OpenGL is also supported by this gives better 3D rendering.

I used to play CS 1.3 on OpenGL. It was very slow even with 256 MB dedicated graphics.
But when I switched over to D3D, it went pretty smooth.
 
Also In tf2 when i try to load maps sometimes it says. Cant load lump 53 alocation of XXXXXXXXXX bytes failed ( X is a number, diffent all the time ) i did my research and found it was a vista problem, downloaded the patch to fix it but it didnt. Can someone tell me if i have to do something aswell? and ill go into video options now thx.
 
Firstly, CANT FIND THE OPTION IN CRYSIS OF tf2. Secondly! AAAAHHHHHHHH! In crysis i downloaded and installed the patch, and now i cant join online servers, It thinks im cheating, punkbuster...... NOOO IM NOT! please help before i chuck my very expensive laptop at the wall~!

What does this stuff mean " total availble Graphics 1023, Dedicated video memory 256 ( i was told its got 512 ram for GPU so maby 256 for each :? ), Shared system memory 767 "

And i went into the nvidia Control panal and i click " set SLI configuration " And it has " do not use SLI techonology " selected and underneath it says " enable SLO technology ( recommended ) " which is not selected. Please dont tell me ive been running my computer at half power for MY whole life !

"bump" I selected to put SLI on the computer restarted and it said " sli is now on " Still freezes tho and stuff.
 
Overheating? Unstable Overclock?

Is it absolutely all your games?Even Solitare?:D

Anything that you did and then this started happening? Like system restore or something?

No over cloacked i havnt done that. Not soolitare. ALWAYS HAPPEND! I AM CALM!!!!! Pleasee help ppl this is a code marone! the code after code red!
 
And it isn't over heating. That was my first thought. Went out and bought a cooling pad a mini fan - 0 differnce.

Also in empire EArth 3. When i move a person and the shadows ( fog of war ) start to disapear. the Shadows Are quite glitchy, and the fog may sometimes flash for .5 of a second when moving a person... ALso crashes.
 
your problem is odd, cause it happens randomly and in all games to has to be something with Video adapters, by the way do you have enough page file ?
if you are so sucre your drivers and settings are up to date, try defragging your hard drive , might do u good
