Do I really have to install GameSpy to play games online like BattleField 2? I dont really like the idea of installing it. What are your opinions about GameSpy?

theres nothign wrong with gamespy. its a very good program. and im not sure if you need it, i wouldnt of thought so

Some games don't require it. I'm not sure about BF2 though, you can just check in the multiplayer options to find out. I use Xfire over gamespy, it's much easier to work with and you don't have to worry about all those advertisments on gamespy. I find it to be faster than gamespy anyway.
