Gaming Build

That RAM is excellent RAM. The reason it has higher timings is because it runs at 1.8v. You can bump up the voltage to 2.0-2.1v and lower the timings significantly yourself if you wanted.

I would also go with an X-Fi sound card, unless your a die-hard audio recorder, since X-Fi's are great for playback.

And I would spend an extra $10-$15 and get the Seagate 320GB hard drive instead. It's alot more space for only a little bit of money.

And dont waste your money on an XFX, get this one for alot less money (especially after the rebate): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130082

Why not this one? I think it is great..

It's basically the same exact thing, but the voltage on that is 2.0-2.1v. Some motherboards wont boot with RAM over 1.9v.

Either one is fine, but if you got the one in your list you can manually raise the voltage and lower the timings.

If you're going to get that OCZ PSU, you may as well get the FSP FX600-GLN instead. It's the same unit (OCZ just rebadges a FSP PSU) with a smaller pricetag. Personally I'd go with the Corsair HX520 instead, though.
