Gaming Computer

I have a desktop computer that runs on Linux. I think its a pentium 4 but im not sure. First, how do i find out what specs my computer has?

I want to convert it to Windows and acquire a gaming computer the cheapest way I can while still having good quality so it wont break.

Would it be cheaper to build my own computer maybe with what ive got or buy one perhaps second hand already complete, or just buy one new?

well, if your pc is an older pentium 4...its not going to be powerful enough to run modern games.

theres not really such a thing...cheap, and gaming pc usually arn't used in the same sentance, but I guess it all depends on what kind of games you want to play on it.

as for finding out "what you computer is made of", use this program, it tells you everything.

Since it's a Pentium 4, I'm going to guess that it's somewhat older and won't be able to upgrade much to become the gaming computer you want. My recommendation would be to build your own computer. It will be easier and cheaper in the long run.

OK, so build a new computer it is.

So umm....where do i start? I want to use it for flight sims a lot. I guess i need a pretty good computer.
