I was wondering which was better. Is the Logitech MX518 better than the Razer Diamondback Plasma?
I want it for gaming and just work/surfing and life.

I own a mx518 and recently purchased a g7 and I have got to say that is the most fantastic mouse i have ever used g7 all the way, I have also tried the mx revoulution its good if you do alot of internet browsing but for gaming its terrible

Logitech G7 all the way, best gaming mouse out there. but if u want to save some cash go for the corded G5 same mouse without wireless.

I just purchased the Logitech G5 along with the G15 and am extremely happy with both. (I went with the corded G5 in order to avoid possible wireless problems.)

which do you like when it comes down to gaming mice and keyboards it is souly down to both personal preference and also personal comfort, if possible try the keyboard out, if you feel comfortable with it then buy it.

I've got the MX518. It's a great gaming mouse and fairly inexpensive. I love how you can adjust sensitivity mid-game without having to pause.

i use the g5, i'll never buy another wireless mouse

at least not one without removeable batteries

it pisses me off to no end when i'm in the middle of work, and my battery dies, and i can't even take the batteries out and put new ones in...........

stay away from rechargeable mice, if you DO go cordless. you'll regret it.

i'm back to corded, after YEARS of using wireless mice, and i don't know why i ever went wireless in the first place.

I have a G5 LX7 and a V200 (G5= Gaming LX7=free I had to fix it and the V200 is my on the go mouse, love them all) the G5 is definately my favorite, looking at a G7 though. Wish they were bluetooth.

I've got both the G15, and the mx518, their both great but the g15 is laser operated and has a little more options/buttons.

In my opinion:

Useful technology in a gaming mouse = Sensitivity adjustment, tilt wheel and additional thumb buttons.

Useless technology = Bluetooth, lasers and LEDs.

Laser=precision bluetooth=laptop convienience (I have a 7900GS go in this thing) and would love the feel and sensitivity of a G7 without the annoying dongle.

No the G15 isn't a rip, I have the G11 and really like. I can only imagine what the G15 must be like. Until you have tried it, don't diss it.
