gaming lag

Just built my computer
msi gaming 9 AC motherboard
intel i7 4790k
16 gb ddr3 ram
Sapphire HD 7770 ghz vapor-x graphics card
750 watt power supply and 1 tb hard drive.

all drivers installed and updated but when I play games like smite and LoL, my fps jumps around 30 to 4.

possible that something is overheating

I get 60 plus FPS in lol, and I have a worse graphics card.

Did you plug in to the onboard video or the actual video card in the PCI-E slots?

Use HWMonitor to see what your temperatures are on your CPU and video card. Did you apply the thermal paste?

I have 7 Tempe ture sensors and nothing goes above 30c.

While doing gaming check the temps, make sure you plug into the right HDMI/VGA/DVI port, not the one on the mobo, but the one on the Graphics Card

i watch the temps, they stay pretty low, processor has the lowest temp. there is thermal adhesive, and my monitor is connected to the graphics card. its been like that since finished and the games just lag

True but a 7770 wouldn't drop LoL to 4 frames.

disconnect from your video card and connect your monitor to the onboard graphics. if lol ceases lagging, then the video card is to blame. if not, it's likely a driver issue.

Yeah the 7770 isn't that bad. There's a different problem at hand.
