Gaming Laptop advice

hey, I am currently considering purchasing a new gaming laptop possibly in the near future (for games like sc2, diablo 3, etc.) and I need some help comparing two models. What I'm looking for is a machine that is very fast with good graphics that will run smoothly with no lag. I am currently comparing a Gateway one, here are the specs:

And I am also taking a look at the Alienware m15x, customized with the following specs:

Display: 15.4" WideXGA+ 1440 x 900 LCD (720p) with Clearview Technology
System Lighting: Alienware® AlienFX® System Lighting - Blue
Video/Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® Series - 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800M GTX
Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T9300 2.5GHz (6MB Cache 800MHz FSB)
Operating System (Office software not included): Windows Vista® Home Premium with Service Pack 1
Notebook Tuners and Remotes: Without Media Center Remote Control or TV Tuner
Memory: 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz – 2 x 1024MB
System Drive: 160GB 7,200RPM (8MB Cache) w/ Free Fall Protection
Optical Drives : 8x Dual Layer Burner (DVD±RW, CD-RW)
Wireless: Internal Intel® Wireless 4965 a/b/g/Draft-N Mini-Card
Sound Card : Internal High-Definition Audio with surround sound
Keyboard Options: AlienFX® Illuminated Keyboard – Exclusive Design

I'm not too concerned with the price, I would just like to know which one would perform better, and possibly how much better one is than the other. Thank you!

Good choice on the M15x. I own one and would say its the best computer I've ever used. The m15x is smaller, and looks like it has a better graphics card. 9800 gts = 8800 gts, 8800m gtx > 8800/9800gts.

OCZ has some pretty good laptops because they have NVIDIA chipsets which is guarenteed to run games. Although one of the main problems is the price. They start at around 2 g's ($2,000). :(
