Gaming Laptop?

Apologies in advance, I looked through all the threads in here, just too computer illiterate to know if my question was answered anywhere.

If I want a laptop that will "WOW" the heck outta me everytime I play a game on it, will this setup do the trick? Any upgrade recommendations? I'm hoping to play stuff like SW:ToR, and any other mmorpgs that come out in the next year or two. Most importantly, I want to be able to play at the highest settings possible.

PROCESSOR: Intel® Core™ i7 2670QM 2.2GHz (3.1GHz w/Turbo Boost, 6MB Cache)
OPERATING SYSTEM: Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit
MEMORY: 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz (2DIMMS)
VIDEO CARD: 1.5GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M
HARD DRIVE: 500GB 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s
LCD PANEL: 17.3-inch WideFHD 1920 x 1080 60Hz WLED
WIRELESS CARD: Killer™ Wireless-N 1103 a/g/n 3x3 MIMO for Gaming & Video
INTERNAL OPTICAL DRIVE: Slot-Loading Dual Layer Blu-ray Reader (BR-ROM, DVD+-RW, CD-RW)

Thanks for any input, really appreciate it.

BTW, this build is $1829. I wouldn't want to go over $2000, and would always rather the pricetag be smaller.

So does that mean my build and the first four will run all games at highest levels? Or do I need to look at the ones with better video card?

Thanks again

Most games, yes. Games like BF3 require a monster machine to run at ultra at 60fps @1080p, but the 560m is a good card and will play most games at high settings.

But seeing that the ones with the better video card are all better and cheaper than the one you posted, I'd go with the better video card.

Do you really see or feel the different on 40fps and 60fps? or just benchmark made the different?
Thank you.

Some games more than others but yes you do see it. That said 40 fps is still playable. I play at 30, with regular dipping. Not ideal but playable none the less.

Everything seems good. Check out this graphic card: NVIDIA Quadro 4000 by PNY VCQ4000PB 2GB PCIE DVI Graphics Card. It is pretty much advanced.

:/ Why would he want a workstation gpu for a computer he intends to game on. He would be much better of spending 75% less for something that will outperform the quatro

the quadro is not worth the money. The NVS I have is sucky compared to the 8400m GS its based on, but It clocks way better. I can net 250MHz over stock on stock volts. The quadro 4000 is pretty strong though. http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-Quadro-4000M.47295.0.html its based on the GTX480m, with lower clocks. You might be able to OC it higher though and have still kick arse performance. But it is not worth the extra, as you could get a HD6990m or GTX580m or GTX580m SLI for less or the same price.

Your all so silly, I little bit of bing in your life would tell you that the Architecture of those gpu are so not meant for gaming.
