Gaming Monitor Resolution

Just put it to as high as your monitor will support.

I don't see how you guys are recommending resolutions without knowing the monitor.

I have the same question. On that acer h213h 180p 21.5 monitor, like pck21 just bought , it's 1900 resolution max insted of 1600. I don't know if I'll be able to max out on that resolution with a phenom II 940 and that single HIS 4870 1gb and 4 gigs ram.

I'd say you'd be able to max it out with those specs. Just see what kind of frames you get and if it's too much, than just put the resolution down a notch.

On paper it looks like you should have no issues, but like tknick90 said, just mess around with the resolutions until you're satisfied. I don't think you can hurt the monitor itself by tweaking resolutions...or can you?
