Hi,
i have just ordered my new bits for my new PC, and to be honest am in a very lucky position as far as what spec i can go for.
I have just gone for the new Q9 series that should of been release however im assured it will be there released on the 30th.
2 x 1gb 9800gx2 (yes i know of the problems with setting such a setup up
4gb of corsair 1333 ddr3
and asus mother board to suit and on and on...
anyway i need a bit of advice i have kindo of decided on vista 64 bit but now i hear that they have some issues with pinnacle video image editing software, to be hones its going to be used mainly for gaming as my work is generally done at work but for them times where i need to meet a deadline then i need the option to be able to do it at home.
i asked the blocke at my local computer shop if there is any other thing i could chuck into the mix to beef it up (beefy enough i know but since its gonna be through the business as it will be used like i say for work at times)
he said its pointless going down the physx card route due to having 2gb of gpu mem can any1 shed light on this and my windows issue.
and he also said that onboard graphics have come on leaps and bounds lately so there is no real need in uprating the sound card. again opinions please
much appreciated
