So I made another thread and got some ideas and heres the two choices I'm stuck on:

I don't really know how to differentiate, but I want to be able to run Minecraft, Fraps, and Skype at the same time as well as be able to play some hardcore graphics games on Steam. I don't really have a preference for either, I just hope that some people can help me pick the better one as I am inexperienced in building custom computers. ALSO, will I need to buy a sound card and a network receiver?

P.S. Honestly the final choice can be much cheaper (as long as I still have 16 gb ram and 2 TB h.d. space) by cutting down on some things.

You should be keeping to one thread so everyone will know what has been said or suggested.
 
You won't need a sound card, but you will need a WiFi card if you want WiFi.

BTW, the second build, which I posted on your first thread could go without the CPU cooler, would save you a good hundred bucks. Also, like i already said, you want a bigger case for your first build that will be easier to work in
 
Okay, I'm leaning toward the second one... the case has three fans built into it so would I even need a cooling system?

That cooler was for the CPU, so you can go crazy over clocking it. You have enough fans, my build only has two and its fine

Also, look into the nzxt h440 or the fractal design define r4, I love them

My power supply is too much wattage, go with a cx600m

I would get the cooler master hyper 212 evo, and the corsair cx600m instead of that cpu cooler and PSU

My question is why do you have another 250GB mechanical hard drive? Why not get a solid state drive instead?

Your parts are compatible but not ideal, just go with the lists either me or Cisco have made.
 
It depends really what you want to do, in terms of cooling the hyper 212 is good but the h100i Has much better cooling. The h100i is also very tidy taking up little space whereas the hyper 212 is quite bulky. In terms of overclock you should be able to do about 4.6-5.1ghz with the h100i. The hyper 212 I wouldn't expect much past 4.2-3.

Have you design which case to go for?

If you are not stick to BitFenix Colossus M, Fractal Design Define R4 is my favourite
