Gaming PC - budget

I've been looking to build a gaming pc and finally have the funds available to do so. I've taken bits and pieces from other people's rigs, so here's what my initial build looks like. I'm open to insight on how it can be improved. Keep in mind, my budget is roughly $600 :D

As you can see, this goes a little over my budget, but i'd rather spend the extra money if i have to. That being said, in terms of a gaming rig, would it be ill-advised to go with an inexpensive CPU? (a highly rated $60 cpu compared to the $160 one i have listed). As far as the PSU, is 650W sufficient? Like i said, any suggestions and input is greatly appreciated.

What you have put together will work fine. As i dont see any problems. I will admit i have little knowledge about mushkin memory but i think someone else will have their opinion but good choice for your budget.

ho with yours but get g. skill ram. just get a set of 2 x 2gb sticks at ddr2 800. and get seagate 500 gb. i like seagate. more quiet. also its ur prefrence on case... but get the antec 900. its super nice

I suggested Antec 300 because it's cheap and efficient. Antec 900 costs about $100 more than Antec 300. In a Three-Hundred install a side fan with nice blue LED, it will look good.

50 dollars more and i would go with the thermal take v9 instaed of the antec 900 (too many people have it)

Thermaltake v9 is also a v.good case with high cooling efficiency:
Cooling System Rear - 1 x 120mm
Cooling System Top - 1 x 230mm
Cooling System Side - 1 x 230mm

I think it's Werdyo decision and he has to make it.

Then go for what I gave you before
