Ok guys, I'm still doing research on a game pc I really want to build my own and am on a $800 to $900 dollar budget.. Now I've put a little something together at newegg.com and it came out to $830 with shipping and everything but I'm about a week or two away from making my final decision about the processor graphics card and the case I really want to make a great gaming performance desktop without spending over a thousand dollars.. Anyway I'll top my rambling and post some links of what i've come up with

Ok, please help, like what I could do better with, I would like to get a quad core I wouldn't mind spending the extra 100 for it but do I really need it? I do want to play top of the line games like far cry 2 and crysis and I'm not sure about the video card how well will it hold up and is there an ati card better?

This is my first desktop build so please any info would be greatly appreciated as I know there are some pretty experienced people on this site.. I am taking my time with looking everything up cause i've made some mistakes in the past with purchases and don't want to do it again when it comes to things like this..

I can't help you because your links are broken. Try fixing them I'll give you some advice.

Jesus! Sorry guys can't believe I did that..lol, Anyway please let me know what you guys think as everything is fixed now..

Thanks Kornowski! I dunno is a Full tower case a big difference from a mid tower? I really like to have it roomy in there I don't mind the space it takes up.. Also i'm having trouble finding the right mobo because I really want 2 PCI express slots because I will definitely be adding another 4850 down the road.. I also don't know if there's a big difference between DDR2 and DDR3 the price sure is a difference but is there a such thing as "future proofing" if I get a mobo that supports DDR3?

I wouldn't waste your money on DDR3! There's hardly any benefit to it over DDR2.

I could recommend a good SLI board, but since you're getting the 4850, it'll be no good to you, so I can't really help you there I'm afraid.

If you wanted a slightly bigger case, I'd look at either of these two;

Antec 900

CM690

Well I wouldn't mind getting the 9800 GTX+ is it better than the ati 4850?

I'd say that the 4850 is better value for money, but the 9800GTX isn't exactly a low end card. They're pretty close...

If you were looking for a good SLI board, I highly recommend the EVGA 750i FTW.

Ok, thanks case problem solved... This is how it's looking so far I still don't know which motherboard to get for it so I didn't put it on this list and the memory, could someone show me a good motherboard that's compatible under $160 dollars please?? here's the list
