Good choices. Those parts will be more than enough for what you have planned. Maybe you should consider some dust filters for the fans.

I am not sure if you need that many fans and not sure your choice of case...

Sure...he could have chosen a better case, but the one he chose will do the job.

Having said that, I just built a PC using a be quiet! Silent Base 800 case. For the price it is a very good case. Then again, advice from others about cases can be very subjective.

I have built a great many PCs and found that each case was a unique experience, some good some bad. The case I mentioned is a fantastic case for the price, I would even say that it rivals other cases that are much more expensive.

The case has two 140mm fans in the front with dust filters. The rear has a 120mm fan. the bottom has a pullout dust filter that covers both fan openings. There is an option to install an additional 7 fans if needed. The case also comes with sound insulation mats, makes the PC very quiet.

Thanks, this is what I have changed. I have swapped the case, lost the two fans and swapped my power supply from a 500W bronze to a 750W gold (forgot to do that, I was planning to), is there anything else I would need to do?

From what I see it looks pretty good. Installing a 250 GB SSD would boost your system speed substantially. It would add about £60 to £70 to your budget though.

I don't think I would need to get both a 1TB HDD and a 250GB SSD, I guess I could go for a 500GB SSD.

Your documents, graphics, offline emails and such shouldn't be stored on the same hard drive as your operating system. Hence the second drive. But, all that is mute if you have another method of securing your data. ;)
