Gaming setup, $1300 budget

I am new to building computers, and I would really appreciate some help.
I've priced out this system:

processor: AMD 3700+

sound card: Creative Audigy2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16829102178

mobo: Biostar TForce4U

memory: G.Skill Extreme 2GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231032

hard drive: Western Digital Caviar
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144701

video card: eVGA Geforce 7800GTX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130254

case/PSU: ASPIRE X-Navigator
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811144125

The total comes out to about 1300. I was hoping for some feedback on whether or not I am spending the right amount of money in the best areas. This system will mainly be a gaming system. One of my main concerns is that every component listed above is compatible with one another.. but I think (hope) I did a good job on that..

Thanks for looking

ItlanChode, can you recommend a case w/PSU that has similar cooling options and similar price? I was trying to decide between the ASPIRE and an Antec case, but the antec had less cooling fans and was more expensive..

bigsaucybob, I think I like your idea. Can you tell me what you would then upgrade my mobo to? I thought the BIOSTAR sounded great from the reviews and such, but then again I am new to this stuff.

thanks for the help

I'd stay with that case, simply because it kicks ass, and with $100 you have left over (from the above suggestions) get a solid PSU.

bigsaucybob, so even though that DFI board specifies a CPU type of "Athlon 64 FX/Athlon 64/Sempron", it will still work for an AMD X2?

Worst case you might need to flash the BIOS, but newer revisons suport the X2 out of the box.
