Hi, I need help, I want to be able to stream on max settings on the game I play it's called smite, I can run it on high and stream at 45 FPS currently with random drops in frames.. I was hoping for a steady 60 FPS.

is it as simple as me upgrading my Processer and GPU? can you guys recommend 2, I didn't want to have to pay more then 600.. I will also need some better cooling i'd think.. my 3 fans aren't cutting it, at least for this proccesser, I heard that I should get

AMD Bulldozer X8 FX-8150 - 189$
Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7950 Chipset (900Mhz) 3GB GDDR5 (5000Mhz) 300$

but is it really going to make that much of a difference? I don't want to end up blowing that much just to be able to play it better but still can't stream.

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T processer

Kingston HyperX 2x 4GB DDR3 1600MHZ

Cooler Master CM 690 Advanced Black ATX Mid TowerCase

Black Sata DVD Writer

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 SATA3 6.0GB/S 1TB 32MB Cache (OEM)

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Socket AM3+ AMD 990FX+SB950 chipset Dual-Channel DDR32000(O.C.)

Corsair Enthusiast Series Modular TX650M 80PLUS Bronze Certified 650W PSU

Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5

You should have no issues with that 6950, in fact its overkill for that game. Are you using the latest drivers? Streaming involves your internet, what speed package do you have?

Go here and do a speedtest and post the results.

www.speedtest.net

After test has been completed click on share result, then click on forum tab, then click on copy. Then right click and click on paste in your reply and it will place the results image in your reply.

it's not my connection I mean I know my upload is low but it's good enough to stream in certain quality, it's my FPS that is dropping :/ I've checked as the ingame options has the ability to display ping/fps and I've streamed a game fine without any issues just my fps in game is low and I do not like it :( it drops instantly as soon as I start streaming, streaming gives high demand to the processor I guess? maybe thats all I need to upgrade?

also my processor is like 50C on idle and like 60-63 max on playing a game

You shouldn't be having any issues with your system with cpu, gpu, or internet speed. It's either a bad video driver or just windows needs a fresh install. Have you checked your system for malware lately?

I am currently checking it again with malwarebytes but I have recently and I didn't have any problems, TBH the game I am playing is in beta and I guess it might not be as well optimized as some games.. I was just hoping that upgrading would make a difference.

you really don't think so? also see my Processor I looked it up and it shouldn't be getting hotter then 62, but it at least reachs that high and sometimes goes a tiny bit hotter.. like right now it's overclocked using AMD overdrive and it's idle at 52-53, if I turn off the clock then it idles at like 45-47, you don't think that could be causing the problem? I have dusted out my computer but it didn't seem to help also my computer did honestly seem to run better when I first got it built, but I've been playing the same game and it has been having updates that change alot of different things in the game and my fps seems to be lower then I when I first started using my computer to play the game.

Thanks again for responding though it's nice to have any sort of help.

if your streaming, 2mb up is kinda wimpy.

it's wimpy, but it's good enough I've streamed successfully with it, if you set it up properly you can stream with 1 upload.

I'd upgrade my upload but canada sucks and so does my ISP, I'd have to get a new ISP and atm just didn't feel like messing around with it.

Remove the overclock and see what happens. And to be honest you should be using the bios to overclock, not a program.

from what I read intel cpus is best for gaming and mine can't use a intel i7 cpu right?

I read that the best amd cpu isn't equivalent and needs to be overclocked to even come close or run as it should.

also I took off the overclock but it didnt seem to change anything, nor make my games run even not as good, if anything it may have run better.

I do not know how to overclock with the bios I figured it would be safe to overclock using the programs that I recieved when installing the drivers for these AMD products.

Just a suggestion.. But i am using same graphic card and most games and i would get really good fps. although i dont play alot of demanding games but things like MoP with ultra setting i would get around 130fps stable.... Since i have no idea what smite is i cant really compare with ur fps lol

Although i flahsed my 6950 sapphire 2 gb into same setting as 6970 (same shader count and clock speed as 6970) so i am guessing something is blocking or holding back ur gpu?

Hey I was going to flash mine but I relized that my card doesnt have the switch I'm supposed to move to turn it into the settings of a 6970.

I really don't think so it just says sapphire on it and has 2 fans, I read that some versions just don't have a switch and I figured mine didn't :(
